New Low Weight!
Welcome to Day 21 of the video diary. I am 6.7kg down this morning, which is a new low for the journey so far. It's day 21, but it'll actually only be three weeks in tomorrow morning's weigh in. My goal was really to get under the seven kilo mark this week. I still have a thousand calories eat tonight, so it is unlikely based on undigested food in the morning that I will hit this seven kilos. It's a bit unfortunate.
I'm definitely putting on muscle, as I've probably explained before, so I have to take that as a little bit of a win. It doesn't help me hit my 25 kilo goal, but you want more muscle than less. So today I met my mom at Estepona Market and bought a shirt and some shorts and went walking with my dog. And then after that I went to the gym. My girlfriend started an Irish dancing class. Participated in that for about two minutes before I realised that I should never Irish dance. And yeah, even still having done all that today, I'm only at 7500 steps. Steps are the one thing that's killing me at the moment. Not getting out for that 45 minute to an hour walk in the morning. I still get some walks. So today for example, I got like 20 minute walk in and 7500 steps is still good. But I like to hit goals. I don't like to fail when I've set them, and this week has definitely failed. On the step point, I think my average for the week is basically what my average is for today, about 7500. So I'm not hitting that 10,000 goal, which is something I need to improve. It's tough, got a lot going on at the moment.
And so other than that, the only other goal I didn't hit this week, (but I'm not too bothered by it) is that I was supposed to go for an extra run today, and that would've been six weights sessions, six cardio sessions this week. To be honest, my body was in bits today. I went to the gym, then did the little bit of Irish dancing that I did do and my body. And usually I can push myself through quite a lot, but my body was telling me to rest today after doing the gym, which is pretty rare. So I was okay with that because I've already increased versus last week.
And that's really the goal is just do more than I was doing last week and I'd already increased an extra two cardio sessions and so I decided, okay, this week it's going to be, instead of this full six cardio sessions going to be five, and next week we'll get the six in. We'll be spinning the wheel probably tonight or tomorrow and doing the next one on the list. That's probably what I'm going to do. I'm going to do three to four runs a week, at least one wheel spin, maybe two, and maybe something else that I come up with myself.
Food today was protein porridge then I had a Irish breakfast wrap with this new Nandos Perinaise. It actually didn't improve the wrap. I'll go back to my ketchup and mustard, but I'm delighted that I got that sauce. I'll also have a pack a Monster Munch. And I don't know what I'm going to have for dinner tonight yet, but with a thousand calories, the possibilities are endless and I'll definitely hit my calorie deficit and I should hit my protein goal as well.
So everything's a good place. Calorie-wise has been perfect for three weeks, and that is the number one most important thing. So as long as I'm doing that, the weight will fall off eventually, it just won't fall off in a 100 days. We'll see. And that's it.
